Nearly all court proceedings are recorded in Massachusetts. To get a copy of the audio record for any case in the Commonwealth, you need to create an account with For The Record, a third-party vendor for the state’s court system.
When making your request, you’ll need the date of the hearing, the approximate time of the hearing, the name of the case, and the docket number.
The amount of time needed to process the request may vary from case to case. And you’ll need to pay the company’s fee before you’ll be allowed to access your audio record request.
