Last Will & Testament of Winston Churchill, January 24, 1965

wch

Churchill died on this day in 1965.  He was 90 years old.

The original copy of his will was recently published online by the U.K. government’s publishing service:

Last Will & Testament of Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill

The document devises most of his estate to his wife, Clementine, and leaves much of the remainder to a trust.

The terms of the trust are unavailable because the trust itself is not part of the probate process.

The will also appoints Clementine and their two children, John and Mary, to serve as the estate’s executors.
