Most lawsuits are dismissed before going to trial.

Dismissals usually happen as a result of settlement negotiations or through summary judgments.

A case can be dismissed either with or without prejudice to the parties.

In this video I discuss what both types of dismissals mean and why you should be familiar with the terms if you’re currently involved in litigation.
