Last week Governor Baker issued COVID-19 Order No. 31 requiring everyone to wear a mask in public. When the order was accounced Baker told the public that wearing a mask was “basically going to be a way of life…there’s no ifs, ands or buts.” Nevertheless, the order contains at least one exception. A person is exempt if he or she “is unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition.” Such a person “shall not be required to produce documentation verifying the condition.”
