
Today a federal judge in Boston sentenced Freily Cabral, 26, of Quincy, to ten years in prison for being a felon in possession of firearms.
According to a press release from the U.S. District Attorney’s Office, Cabral was placed on house arrest following a 2020 arrest for illegally possessing a firearm.
While under house arrest, Cabral posted selfies of himself to snapchat with at least give different guns:
- a Glock semiautomatic handgun with a flashlight attachment,
- a Walther semi-automatic firearm
- a Taurus revolver,
- a semi-automatic firearm, and
- a silver revolver. In one of the videos,
In one cheeky video, Cabral held three different guns up to his face as if he were using them to make phone calls.
Following his ten year sentence, Cabral will have three years of supervised release.
