
Yesterday the Webster Police Department issued a statement regarding an all-out brawl that took place at a two-year-old’s birthday party in late November. According to police, the incident took place at 23 Everett Avenue,
An unnamed caller reported a disturbance at the residence and at least six officers responded. Shortly after they arrived, officers encountered Jordan Campos, 27, of Worcester. According to police,
Jordan Campos, entered the apartment and attempted to try and fight another male inside. Officers attempted to hold Mr. Campos back, which is when he struck an Officer in his upper torso area. Officers attempted to place Mr. Campos into custody, however, he continued fighting and grabbed a hold of his right pocket. Officers had to use defensive tactics techniques, as well as a Taser deployment, to place Mr. Campos under arrest.
During the struggle, Campos allegedly kicked one officer in the face and spit on another.
Several party-goers interfered while police attempted to arrest Campos. The situation escalated to the point where a “mutual-aid assistance” call was made and officers from nine neighboring police departments arrived to put down the melee.
Police posted the names of those arrested and the crimes they allegedly committed:
Jordan Campos, 27, of Great Brook Valley Ave, Worcester, MA, was arrested on the following charges: Disorderly Conduct (Subsequent Offense), Disturbing the Peace, Resisting Arrest, three (3) counts of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, and A&B Attempting to Disarm a Police Officer.
Marylin Lopez, 27, of Everett Ave, Webster, was charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct, and Keeper of a Disorderly Household.
Franklin Baez, 28, of Catharine St., Worcester, MA, was charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Disturbing the Peace, and Disorderly Conduct.
As noted in the police statement, all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
