This blog could have its own category for crimes committed on flights to/from Boston.
Here are just some of my previous posts involving Login Airport:
- Newton Man Accused of “Abusive Sexual Contact” with Minor on Flight to Boston;
- Man Arrested for Allegedly Exposing Himself on a Flight to Boston;
- Doctor Arrested for “Lewd, Indecent and Obscene Acts” Abroad Flight to Boston;
- California Man Sentenced for Groping Female Passengers on Overnight Flight to Boston
We now have a new story to add to the list.
In March 2023, a mentally ill man from Leominster, Francisco Severo Torres, allegedly went nuts on a cross-country flight from L.A. to Boston.
As the plane began to reach its destination, Francisco reportedly started to ramble loudly about being the son of Dracula.
He allegedly removed the lock from the plane’s emergency exit, though the door did not open due to cabin pressure.
As flight attendants tried to calm or subdue Francisco, he allegedly attempted to stab one of them in the neck with a broken metal spoon.
Authorities charged the son of Dracula with one count of interference with flight crew members using a dangerous weapon.
He was sentenced today, receiving 26 months in prison (he’s already served about two years).
Additionally, he will be on supervised release for fives. Thankfully he’s barred from air travel during that time.
