On July 29, 2025 Dorchester Police arrested Omaila Medina, 41, of Boston, for allegedly robbing CVS at knife point.
Police claim that Omaila attempted to steal eight cartons of ice cream from the store.
Omaila had nine open warrants at the time of her arrest and she appears to be a “frequent flier” at Boston Municipal Court – Dorchester.
Online records show at least 15 criminal cases in that court alone since 2011.
Omaila was arraigned on July 30 for one count of armed robbery.
The Commonwealth filed a motion to revoke her bail on some or all of her pending nine cases. The court has not yet taken action on that motion.
Her next court date is August 8.
