
Yesterday Massachusetts State Police–with the assistance of the Framingham Police Department–arrested three suspects who allegedly attempted to solicit minors.
According to the state police blog,
Massachusetts State Police High Risk Victims Unit, alongside officers from the Framingham Police Department, conducted an operation to address the increase in commercial sexual exploitation of children. The suspects who were arrested thought they were arranging sex for a fee with an underage child, when in fact they were communicating with undercover law enforcement officers.
The suspects have been charged with
- Sexual Conduct for a Fee with a Child under G.L. c. 272, Sec. 53A, and
- Enticement of a child under the age of 16 under G.L. c. 265, Sec. 25C(b).
A clerk magistrate set bail at $7,500 for each suspect.
