A man was allegedly pushed down a flight of stairs at the Bruins game on Saturday.
Witnesses claim that the alleged victim was intoxicated and heckling fans of the visiting New York Rangers.
According to police, the alleged victim continually disturbed Aaron Tucker, 48, who was reportedly wearing a Rangers hat and jersey.
One spectator claims that Tucker was accompanied by a woman and, at one point, the alleged victim put his middle finger in the woman’s face.
The spectator claims that as the alleged victim got closer to the woman, Tucker allegedly grabbed him by the neck and pushed him back.
Police claim that the man fell backward down the stairs, losing consciousness.
An EMT transported the man to Mass General Hospital.
Tucker was scheduled to be arraigned today in Boston Municipal Court-Central.
Though online records show that the hearing did not take place.
The complaint charges Tucker with assault and battery on a person 60+/disabled (a felony) and assault and battery (a misdemeanor).
