An unnamed Marshfield police officer is facing charges of (1) OUI causing serious bodily injury, (2) reckless operation of a motor vehicle, (3) marked lanes violations, and (4) speeding.
According to a statement released yesterday by the town’s police chief, the off-duty officer allegedly crashed his Jeep on Route 139 on Sunday night around 9 p.m.
The officer has been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.
