On Sunday around 9:30 p.m. a police officer was dispatched to the corner of Old Road and Ellington Street in Dorchester for a report of a disturbance and loud music.
When the officer arrived he saw approximately 100 to 150 people blocking the roads.
He also noted several “low riders, cars, mopeds, and dirt bikes.”
At least one of the dirt bikes did not have a license plate.
The officer approached the rider and grabbed hold of him as he started to flee.
As the officer struggled with the man, the crowd began to throw beer and drinks at him.
