Prosecutors, here’s a story for you.
Jeramie Croft, 42, was just sentenced to 3 years in state prison after pleading guilty to larceny and other related crimes in Suffolk County Superior Court.
The D.A.’s office posted a jubilant 1,000+ word statement detailing Croft’s numerous Home Depot heists in West Roxbury and the South Bay Mall.
According to the statement, “Croft’s criminal record consists of more than 80 convictions and at least 65 of them resulted in committed time. Croft has been convicted of more than 20 shoplifting charges.”
The District Attorney described Croft as “a clear threat to our retail community” adding “this sentence is entirely justified by his repeated offenses.”
A representative from Home Depot attended the sentencing to watch Croft get his comeuppance.
