The Norwood Police Department announced that one of its officers, Shawn Willman, was arrested last Thursday for allegedly driving drunk.
Willman was off duty at the time of his arrest.
The department has placed him on administrative leave and ordered an internal investigation into the matter.
It’s unclear where the arrest took place.
Currently there are no cases pending against Willman in Dedham District Court which has jurisdiction over Norwood.
