Most first-time offenders (21 or older) receive a license suspension of 45 days.
This suspension begins on the day of the plea.
You do not get credit for any license suspension that you incurred between your arrest and your plea.
Typically, drivers (21 or older) who fail the breath test receive a 30-day suspension while those who refuse the test get a minimum suspension of 180 days.
The suspension imposed at the time of your plea will usually supersede your pending suspension.
